RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Although we hope every purchase is a successful one, things happen, and minds change. In these circumstances, we will honor a refund, store credit, or exchange provided the purchased items are returned within 14 days of their delivery date in the original packaging and their original condition. 

STARTING YOUR RETURN

We’ve partnered with Re:Do to provide a seamless and affordable return process. Before you click the portal link below, please read what parts are and are not eligible for return.

Items for return should be packaged securely with your name, order details, and return confirmation. If you did not opt in to Re:Do's return service, we recommend returns be sent by a tracked mail service, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Postage for international returns is the responsibility of the sender unless you received an incorrect part.

Unless you have opted into the Re:Do feature at checkout, return fees are the responsibility of the buyer unless you were sent an incorrect part.

Once we receive your return, please allow 5-7 business days for us to process your return. Once processed, your store credit, refund, or exchange will be processed, and an email confirmation will be sent to you.

Please note: our Re:Do service does not protect you from parts that have been modified or damaged in your possession. 

PARTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

  • Movements that have been installed in a case.
  • Any part from our "Permanent Collection" that has been used for a build or modified in any way will not be eligible for a full refund. Partial refunds or store credit may be issued at Secondhand Mods's discretion.  
  • Any part listed as "BNIB" (aka, Brand New In Box/Bag) that is sealed in a box or bag that has been opened.
  • Parts may not be returned after 14-day-post delivery grace period. No exceptions.
  • Parts that have been modified or damaged in your possession. 

INCORRECT ORDERS

If you were sent an incorrect or defective part, please contact us directly at info@secondhandmods.com. Incorrect orders are eligible for full refunds upon return of the part(s), confirmation that they were incorrect, and that the parts are in their original condition. 

We reserve the right to refuse returns of items when they do not meet the conditions defined above.

LOST OR STOLEN ORDERS

We do not take any responsibility for packages that have been lost or stolen after they've been marked as "DELIVERED" by the postal carrier, and no refund will be issued.

Lost or stolen orders that are marked "In transit" by the carrier and are past their expected delivery window will be handled in the following manner:

1. A missing package case will be opened with the carrier 

2. If the carrier is unable to locate and deliver your package, a full refund will be issued. 

Lost/Stolen packages may take up to 3 weeks to process. All successfully returned items will be credited to the account used to originally purchase the items once the items are received by us, less any taxes or import duties incurred within 14 days. Shipping charges will not be refunded on returned goods. 

RETURNED OR LOST ORDERS DUE TO INCORRECT ADDRESS OR CUSTOMS INFO

Orders lost due to an incorrect address will not be eligible for a refund. If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or customs info, you will be responsible for repaying any shipping fees if you decide you still want your order.

If you wish to cancel an order that's been returned to us, a refund will only be issued after the parts have been inspected and are found in the same condition as they were when they were originally shipped to the customer.
